THE RETREAT
GNAR is situated on 1.5 acres of heaven on earth, within walking distance to the White Salmon River. There’s a lot packed into this property, all of it designed around the guest experience. It’s both relaxing and entertaining, simultaneously private and communal. You decide between hamming it up with the group and having some peace and quiet all to yourself.
The GNAR facility features it’s own jump track with four sizable but pretty safe table tops. There are a couple bikes and helmets kicking around, you can borrow to ride if you don’t have your own.
THE LAYOUT AT GNAR
Main House
The 3 bed/2 bath main house is the core of the Retreat. The open concept kitchen, dining, and living area is great for gathering. Outdoor patios invite you to enjoy nature. Dual-zone air conditioning and radiant heat keep it all comfy. The master suite features a King bed and a nice bathroom with a large vanity and tiled shower. Bedroom 2 has a queen bed, and Bedroom 3 has a queen-over-queen bunk bed. Altogether, the main house can sleep 4-6 people if there are couples in the group.
GNAR Studio
This private apartment, separated from the main house, has 20′ tall ceilings and a modern design that you’ll be looking forward to after a long day of adventure in the Gorge. The studio has a full kitchen, full bath, and a queen-size bed in the stair-accessed loft. Perfect for a couple or just a single person who values their privacy and quiet time.
Shred Shed
This fun little unit is separate from both of the others and also has tall ceilings, a full kitchen, a full bath, a queen bed and a Twin XL (adult length, narrow width) mattress in a loft. This would be great for a couple with their child, or a couple of adults who want to share their own space but not sleep together. The computer loft computer in this unit is particularly great if you need to get a little work done while you’re here.
