MULTI-SPORT
Are you the rare breed of creature that is passionate about both whitewater kayaking and mountain biking? Down for multi-sport days? You couldn’t pick a better place! This is what “Gorge Life” is all about. This is the trip you didn’t know existed.
MULTI-GNAR TRIPS
Why choose between the river and the trail when you can have both? This is the pinnacle of the Pacific Northwest adventure sports experience, designed for the athlete who wants it all. Over seven heart-pounding days, you’ll transition seamlessly from the cockpit to the saddle, often in the same day, charging through the world class local rivers and trails. This is a high-octane immersion into “Gorge Life”, studded with quiet comfort and a vibrant dining scene. We only run this trip one week each season, group size is kept small, and the spots fill up fast.
WE HAVE A CONCEPT OF A PLAN
These are boutique trips, customized for each group who books, and there is no agenda. We’re going to go with the flow and follow your stoke. Each morning, we’ll make some recommendations and make sure you know what the options are, but we expect to change plans on the fly and bend over backwards to help you cram things in. We cannot wait to show you what this place has to offer.
WHO IS THIS TRIP FOR?
This trip is for seasoned multi-sport athletes. This is for people who want to run a Truss lap in the morning, ride 12 miles that afternoon and repeat that kind of thing for a week. Can you come on this trip and bow out of some of this? Sure. BUT WE WANT PEOPLE OUT THERE WHO GO BIG TO KNOW THAT A TRIP LIKE THIS EXISTS FOR THEM.
MULTI-SPORT PACKAGES
A DAY AT GNARLY NATE'S
RISE AND GNAR
Depending on the temperature forecast, we sometimes opt to get a pretty early start and avoid the mid-day heat. We’ll discuss the day’s plan and fuel up our bodies. Depending on the agenda, we’ll either pack our lunches before we go, or plan to take a break at local eatery for lunch.
GNAR ALL DAY
We can structure the day however you want, and have multiple riding sessions if that’s what the group decides. We’ll work it out so that not everyone has to keep riding if they want to bail or join mid-day. There’s over 100 of miles of trails to sample in the Gorge, and each riding area has a different vibe. We can also spend some time at one of the skills areas, such as Family Man, and lap some jumps lines and practice skinnies.
POST GNAR
Your trip is all-inclusive*, and we will dine together at a local restaurant of the group’s choice each night. Your package also includes two spa visits, with hot tubs and saunas, for some intermittent recovery throughout your trip. After dinner, we’ll return to the Retreat, where you can have some beers and talk about that jump you cleared, play games, try out the Retreat’s own jump track, or pass out.
